Chris Fuller, our awesome service manager and a member of the storied Laguna Rads (who were inducted as a group into the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame in 2011) recently took the Dakar 650B up to Buffalo Creek for a day-long test run and loved it!

Mountain Bike Action Magazine’s Wheel Test Video

Mountain Bike Action Magazine has just completed a test of 3 Jamis mountain bikes for the purpose of comparing wheel sizes! Click above to see MBA’s wheel test video.

Tested were Jamis hardtail mountain bikes with 26 inch, 650B and 29 inch wheels, respectively. Below is a picture of the 3 different wheel sizes, side by side.

The results of MBA’s test are being published in the magazine’s March 2012 issue.  And the winner is…..the 650B!!

Hey everyone, Uzi and Bear will be sporadically joining us at the shop from now on. Uzi, pictured in front, will be the new sales floor manager, and Bear will be our bouncer!  Both are enjoying a bit of down-time, having just completed a long day of training.

Chris Fuller, commander in chief of the Velosoul Service Dept. is out for the week. He’s in Vegas at Interbike getting inducted in to the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame along with some of the other OG Laguna Rads. Here’s Chris in a 1988 issue of Penthouse with some sweet air on the Telonics downhill. Check out the rigid fork, cantilever brakes, and toe straps!
